We believe Edison will strive to provide a friendly, nurturing, and safe
environment,with a focus on high academic expectations based on
reserach and current effective instruction that ensures successfor a
diverse group of learner, in partnership with families and community.

Edison Elementary
Goals for 2008 - 2009

Equity Goals:
  • The number of minority 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are proficient in reading and math as measured on the fall 2008 ITBS will increase by 10%.
Reading Goals:
  • The number of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are proficient in reading comprehension on the fall 2008 ITBS will increase by 5%.
  • The number of minority 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are proficient in reading comprehension on the fall 2008 ITBS will increase by 5%.
Math Goals:
  • The number of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are proficient in math on the ITBS will increase by 5% measured on the Fall 2008 ITBS Math test.
  • The number of minority 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who are proficient in math on the ITBS will increase by 5% as measured on the Fall 2008 Math test.
